Putin said "special military operation" and so far it looks like he meant it. One gets the feeling it is being shown as larger than it is. A country like Russia can live with 10 dead soldiers a day indefinitely.
Isn’t one month’s training really skimping, assuming the regional troops are young men being recruited from civilian life? Or do a lot of them have prior experience?
Has anyone seen "media" reports that a UKR counter-offensive has made stunning advances? - 70 sq km of territory regained in eastern UKR - I saw that on Yahoo - Sept 8 - AM USA local time - a "serious blow if true and if territory can be held" goes the narrative.
Would be cool and legend-building to have Kovalev leading the Chelyabinsk detachments in battle, but sadly the guy has decided to stay in the West, even after they robbed him of a couple of fights with Ward, and tried to send him to prison for righteously slapping a wench around after he got wronged.
